When an international fashion event takes place in Paris, the entire world stands up and takes notice. Last week was the Paris Spring/Summer Fashion Week which keep getting better and bigger every year. The show took place in an old building in the Rue Combon which is an old bank and across from the old Coco Chanel apartment. This year was different from all other Paris fashion shows with the runway not raised as usual. Models walked in between the spectators, allowing people to take a better look at the dresses. The theme of the event was slim trousers and T-shirts which was termed by Karl Lagerfeld as the way young women dress. The show was toned down with absence of vibrant colors as seen in the London Fashion Week. A few designers decked their models in plain Chanel jackets combines with blush hues. Paul Costello displayed metallic silver dresses along with some short rock and roll themed dresses that were admired by everyone. Fillippo Scuffi displayed dressed themed with the forties trends with skirts, dresses and playsuits with vibrant colors.
